Whether you are a new parent or new to the area, we welcome you to Pediatrics of Arlington.

Prenatal and Get-Acquainted Visits

We look forward to meeting you for a prenatal or get-acquainted visit. Please call 703-522-7300 to set up a time to meet privately with one of our doctors to get a sense of the practice. We hope you will get to know one of our physicians, find out where we are located, and have any questions answered. These complimentary visits are encouraged, but are not required to join our practice.

New Babies

We welcome babies born at all area hospitals to our practice.

You do not need to “register” with our office before your baby is born.

If you deliver at Virginia Hospital Center or INOVA Fairfax Hospital for Children, one of our physicians will examine your baby in the hospital and discuss newborn care. Please tell the hospital staff that you have chosen our practice so they can contact us when your baby arrives. Please mention any of our doctors by name (Drs. Casey, Goldman, Lischwe, Garrett, Kim, or Pease).

If your baby is born at another hospital, their nursery pediatricians will provide care for your newborn while you are in the hospital. You will be given a summary of your baby’s medical record to bring to your first visit at our office.

Please call our office while you are still in the hospital to set up your child’s first visit. We like to see newborns 1-2 days after they leave the hospital.
